B. Colours
SiSiGwad Consulting has made an effort to display the colors of the products as closely as possible to reality. However, the color of the products that appear on the screen may be subject to variations depending on the quality of your computer monitor. In this sense, SiSiGwad Consulting cannot guarantee that the colors that appear on your monitor will faithfully match reality. Nor do we put much stock in our ability to be professional graphic designers, so manage your expectations accordingly.
D. Spelling and Grammatical Errors.
SiSiGwad Consulting respectfully reminds you that spelling is colonial. While we agree that it is important to honour the work and teachings of our ancestors (and yours). We also want to acknowledge that written language can trigger or hold feelings of anxiety and trauma for Indigenous Peoples. We endeavour to use kind language and phrases in order to do no harm, and will mark pages or sections as “CW” (Content Warning) or “TW” (Trigger Warning) if touching upon sensitive subjects. Another acronym you may want to familiarize yourself with is “FNMI” (First Nations, Métis, Inuit).
We understand that the English language has a number of rules and we do our best to follow them. If you find spelling and/or grammatical errors in the English language that you just can’t ignore, please let us know! If you are questioning errors regarding Indigenous words, orthographies, or spelling conventions, we encourage you to remember that our languages are/were oral and sometimes it’s good to ’smash the patriarchy'! (But you can point it out respectfully, if you are a speaker of that language) :)
